UPCOMING EVENTS
All FOWR Issues and Action meetings are held at 6:15 pm on the first Thursday of every month at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Markham Woods Road in Longwood. Members and the public are welcome to join the Board at these meetings. Refreshments are served. Programs begin (after the monthly meeting) at 7:00 p.m. Field Trips are also open to the public; but when they involve canoeing, we ask that you sign up several days in advance.

Saturday, March 24. 2007 River Cleanup sponsored by the Honorable Bryan Nelson, the Apopka Rotary and the Friends of the Wekiva. Bryan Nelson and the Apopka Rotary will be working Rock Springs Run from King's Landing to the Wekiva Marina. The Friends will be working from the Wekiva Marina.
