Houston…We Have A Pavilion!

The kit arrived. Concrete was poured. The roof went up. And now, finally, after all the time, patience and waiting we are so thrilled to announce that we have a … PAVILION!!!!

We’d like to thank the construction team, the commissioners, everyone who helped at the county level, the FOWR Pavilion Committee, state park employees, donors, and all the hands, brains, sweat, and generosity that made this project possible. What an amazing accomplishment!

Please join us for a joyful ceremony on April 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Katie’s Landing as we celebrate the pavilion’s completion and dedication to the State Park. There will be family-friendly activities, giveaways, a raffle, food, music, a presentation at noon, and loads of fun. More details coming soon, we hope to see you there!
